now uve wrote this, thats what happened to me about 2-3 years ago, was stood by the buses and some ***** (who had a little kid on his shoulders) walked past me while i had my back to him and called me a yorkshire w@nker so i turned round and asked him to repeat it and when he did i told him to get his kid out of way, hes 2 fat **** mates came bouncing down and then it nearly all kicked off round the buses
I didn't see anyone who looked particularly threatening, it all seemed to be families and studenty type folk
Having read this thread 4 times i still have no idea what Phil is on about. Basically someone walked into him whilst discussing Nandos is all i can gauge.
He only implied that such a hideous crime warranted an arrest but he did say that they were just stood around doing nothing. He also flippantly mentioned that they have a stressful job.
Horrible *******s at Leicester. New ground but nothing has changed. Saw us lose there a few years ago and not wanted to go back since. You stand up and POLICE not even the stewards come to tell you to sit down or you will be thrown out despite hundreds of home fans the opposite side of the netting getting away with the exact same. Leaving or going into the ground you have to be vigilant of what's happening around you. This due to the away area being badly looked after. It's so very easy for an home fan to smack you as you leave with them sandwiching you from either side and just blend into the crowd and get away with it. The exercise of escorting coaches too and from ground could be simpler. Nothing done about the amount of times home fans bang on the coach windows, give you hand gestures etc. One even pulled a mooney a few years ago and the nearby cops saw it and simply laughed.
You have to look after yourself at every away ground, the coppers aren't interested till somebody has had at least a few cracks, and then they will pile in and arrest anybody they can get their hands on, including the victim of the assault, and the lot will end up with a 3 year ban. I saw them doing the 'walking into folks' thing that Hemmsy is on about, and I'm surprised it hasn't kicked off there the last 3 times we have been 'cos there is plenty of them hanging around the area where the coaches park. Think it's just lucky for them they haven't bumped into the wrong bloke, 'cos there was a few there from Barnsley on Saturday who wouldn't have thought twice about giving the little pr*cks a crack, regardless of the consequences
Thanks Albatross. Nice to see someone post thats seen it themselves. I'm not saying its the crime of the century but a little bit less thinking about food and a little bit of awareness of whats going on around them could save a bust up and arrests.
then you can have your say What makes me able to have a say is it happening to people. Your as bad as merlin. But your time will come.
i dont think these guys will ever bump into the wrong person they havent the ******** for that. they just try to pick on the unsuspecting who they think /know they can bully around. it happened to a mate of mine a couple years ago. unfortunatley foe the leicester fan we saw him further down the road on his own. the rest of the lads on the mini bus dragged him in gave him a kicking then dropped him off by the m1. minus his shoes and wallet.
Strangely enough last season me and Esl came close. Walked into the wrong pub and the music stopped. Arse nipped for a while but they left us alone.
threatening another BBS user? I've met, he although it was only once will know i'm not that type of person.
