Why..

do these nuggets of information come out after original ticket Info. It makes it look like the club need reminding of different circumstances for fans before they respond.

Not everybody buys tickets at the box office

I also don't like the ticket stub idea either.

I've been to about 6 games this season due to work commitments that I haven't had before but I could get my hands on a ticket stub from every game this season if needs be. Also I never ever save ticket stubs; I'm not that sad.

    RE:Colchester Ticket Stubs...

Can I just say I gave my stub to someone else for cheaper Oakwell entry for the beam back as I went to Anfield. Wil the Box Office consider looking at the records to see that I bought two? Doubt it.

Chelsea operate a loyalty points scheme.

Those travelling to Barnsley get 5 points, I think Everton was 3 points and games in London 1 point.

You would have to buy from the box office if you wanted to benefit from such a scheme however, so they could capture the data.

That'll be why they always say - oh is it 25 xxxxxx close? every time. They don't have any procedures in place and say what they want. I agree a computer system would eliminate everything. Then just take photo ID for tickets

They obviously don't understand the DP Act

    Not that I'm surprised.

We know they keep fans' details on their computers, of course they do.

no, cos you got to go to Anfield. I think the point of this gesture is to recompense those who were offered "priority tickets" for the Anfield game when in reality the club knew damn well that with 2 tickets per ST holder there were never gonna be any left. It was a cynical ploy to bump up attendance at the Colchester match.
I'll forgive em tho, just the once.

    To be honest

There's a fair chance that some staff in there actually don't, I speak to numerous people every day in my job who don't have the foggiest idea what it means.

    Lol.
