Because the meeting was full of ******** as per usual Gally. It's about time that they were called out on it

Exactly. Building a team to be stable in the Championship has to come first. Otherwise all else is devalued.

It's an almost sociopathic way of looking at it to treat footballers and club staff as dispensible assets. These aren't Del Boy's Romanian Radios and dodgy microwaves. It takes time to get a successful sporting formula and requires character, good relationships and experience of competing at the level we're striving to maintain.

Last season was somewhat a quickfire flash in the pan, but surely then every reason to try and maintain that? Was that not our winning formula?

Bar that, at Championship level we've been relegated twice in 3 years (yes, Struber's team were relegated in sporting terms, let's face it) and seem nailed on for a third. It. Isn't. Working.

Sold key players and then replaced with cheaper ones who's value increased and then sold them. Yes, initially more money may have been put in but they've stuck with the same manager, stuck to the plan and are making a good go of it in the Prem.
To me, we're too short term.

Ignoring the £100 million debt and the obscene wages. They're just another Bournemouth to me, but with a plan on how to overspend rather than just overspending.

I do really enjoy watching them play though.

Do football club accounts (in general) show sponsorship monies
As in each individual sponsor and how much they each pay

Thanks in advance if you are aware or not of this

No. In Barnsley FC Accounts for the 2019/20 season (Note 3 TURNOVER), there is a figure of £714,681 described as Sponsorship & Advertising.

Can I just say that Schopp being sacked after the Sheffield Utd match would just be a hollow gesture by the board to try and get some fans hoodwinked. It would be a feeble attempt to mask the unforgivable comments in that interview with the CEO. No going back for me. Someone needs to tweet Colin Murray and SSN too.

The club needs a media platform here.

Completely agree. I’m going to reserve judgement on this CEO till after a transfer window or two. I don’t think he came across particularly well on a number of questions, but I used to think that Ganaye came across very well and it turned out that he oversaw the disastrous sale of MacDonald, so I guess time will tell.

Wow! Is this really the best we could do in terms of CEO? Sounds clueless and so out of touch it's embarrassing.

What a f*****g dream team we have with him and Schopp

He sounds like a complete and utter ßellend, can’t say I wasn’t warned though. When this guy was first announced as our new CEO on Twitter, I noticed a few Swedish lads and fans of Djurgården (El-Ahmad’s old club before he joined the City Group) write cryptic things about him on the announcement tweet so I decided to message one…
