    Just because he was out last year? Yet he still scores the same amount has our highest goal scorer......playing half the games!

    But i'd like to understand why signing a 31 one year old is a problem and why you have stated incorrectly that he is injury prone.

    He would have had to sign before 5pm today to be available tomorrow, and he didn't.

    Whereas as long as the loan deal was done before 12 tomorrow he could play. It's a usual deal to get a player cleared quickly, happens a lot. Doesn't mean the deal cannot be done, it's about getting him cleared for the game.
