Here's the latest from the BBC ...... QPR striker Andy Johnson wants to repay the club by helping Rangers to win an instant promotion back to the top flight. Former England international Johnson, 32, missed most of last season with a knee injury but made his return in a pre-season game at Exeter. "It's been a long time. I am a loyal player and a lot of the staff here put a lot of work in to get me back fit. I feel I owe the club," he tells BBC London 94.9.
Re: Here's the latest from the BBC ...... Translated as "I'm on obscene wages that many premiership teams couldn't even match so i'm going nowhere, ta"
QPR have been linked with other strikers as well Im guessing this is scripted by his agent ie 'if you want my client to leave, you will have to pay up'. Comes down to how much Harry wants his own players in and how much goodwill he's got left with the owner.
Re: QPR have been linked with other strikers as well When he was unattached (before QPR signed him) his agent said he was strongly considering making a move to the United Arab Emirates. Think he got a couple of offers. Sounds like QPR saved him from poverty.
