    I know what you mean. All my life I have been one of those fans that likes to stay until the end and applaud the players. But this season (under Davey) on a few occasions I have left 10mins early with the thought "why do I bother" in my head. Depressing stuff indeed. Colchester, Wendys and Southend being the worst.

    I told everyone last week, Parky beat Ritchie to the job, Megson was the 3rd person to get a second interview. Huddrsfield didn't name Ritchie straight away when Parky turned it down as he would just have been viewed as 2nd choice (which he is).</p>

    They did however take up extensive references and canvas the views of many within football before making their choice.</p>

    I take it they didn't ask you! :D</p>
