Mixed feelings about his appointment. Think he is a top bloke and he did get us promoted so will always be remembered fondly. But its Huddersfield.
Good luck fella, and I hope you really do well at udders and show this tin pot board that they dropped the biggest bollock by sacking you. Good luck. (Y)
RE: Get ready for the exodus from Oakwell ........ and the rest.....Kay Howard Devaney Colgan.....if you are out of contract and don't have to move house to play for a club who pay higher wages than us !
RE: Sure of a good reception anytime at Oakwell - Good luck Andy. nt nt All the best Andy from 4 of us.

RE: Correct, loads of it on view at Palace away ... not! nt The Palace game on the day after Holden told a reporter he did not expect them to be in a job much longer?
The players knew the writing was on the wall during that game too, that explains the performance more than anything else.Cut out the spin!

Andy's back 'inside' football then. Not that with all his experience he was ever out of it. Unlike some.
Not 'spin' mate .... FACT! ............. ......... or should I pick a game that suits your side of the argument?
RE: Not 'spin' mate .... FACT! ............. No I just stick to facts, and it's a fact that AR, RH and the players knew thatAR and RH were going before the Palace game, a fact which totally contradicts your argument! Totally, 100% contradicts it!
so are you claiming that BFC consitantly provided entertaining attacking football that oozed team spirit other than the Palace game where the players decided not put put in a shift because their gaffer was being sacked? Is that what you are saying? Thought not. Memories are distorted by success at Cardiff and a good start to the season. Hapless, spineless performances such as those against Doncaster last season are easily forgotton by the selective memory.
Agreed 100% Football is firmly in the Entertainment sector. Having a winning team is a secondary pleasure for me, I'd much rather see fast fluent football down at the 'Well.
No, just explaining that the Palace game example disproved a point Albatross was trying to make rather than proved it.
As for ignoring 'Hapless, spineless performances', I think there have been quite a few recently that you seem to have your head in the sand about so I really wouldn't bother going down that route.

I think the context of this thread AR Can't remember talking about the current manager Clueless? pot kettle black.
