Haven't seen Hayter play much

His average goal scoring record isn't any better than Hayes, Richards or Wright and it's a long way short of Nardiello, so I'm pretty much happy with what we've got. To add to that I don't think we could afford Hayter and I don't think he would come. I wouldn't have offered Richards an 18 month contract, but there you go.

I think Wright will come good and I think he'll make a very good partnership with Hayes. If they're not doing it we've got Nardiello to bring on.

We needed a forward that can put himself about. Wright is that kind of player, Hayter is not. So to answer your question, I think Ritchie made the right choice. Time will tell, but you certainly can't judge after a couple of weeks.

One million for Brian Stock, but settled for £150k to Preston. Bet they would settle for £150K for Hayter. Bet Hayter would prefer a move to Southampton with some of the Walcott cash, though. Rotten when your club's financially insolvent and everyone is plundering your best players at knock-down prices - just not fair!!

When Nads puts in the same amount of effort as Richards then he might JUST about be considered for a regular start.

Richards is very under rated especially by some on here.

shurrup  you bleeding clown,have you ever heard of giving players a chance,wright aint been here two minutes and you have written him off already,and as for ritchie he is doing a good job in his first season, he is making steady progress and we have at last got a decent team,it will take time to turn this club round and get out of this league it may or may not happen this season but i believe we are well set for the future,either get behind em or f**k off

few points i wanna say just from reading the msgs left on this forum

1 hayter would not come to us or could we afford him

2. lets get behind the lads instead of slagging them off all the time

3. we have got goalscorers paul hayes scored 20 goals last season n will get near that this season

4. Tommy wright give him a chance please . He looks good in the air and he gets in the positions to score the goals against chesterfield he could of least had a hatrick once he scored HIS 1st the goals will flow

5. instead of moaning about everything lets look at the postives we are better financialy this season we have we r just outside the playoff with a great chance of getting in there at the end of the season . Give andy ritchie sum credit he has transformed this club from a horrible year under paul hart . He has made sum great signing and lets get behind him and the boys starting on tuesday nite at walsall
