    My sister-in-law was attacked by her much loved collie. The dog had a brain tumour and just flipped one day.

    the registrations came free when I bought the dogs.. You seem to be missing my point

    point being that some sort of registration should be in place. I agree that some do not insure cars, and will reply with how many would go out and get a dog licence from that lot. I again say that some sort of pressure be put on to deter people from getting dogs at the merest whim. Go and try to take home a rescue dog... wait till you see the investigations that you have to go through with that, same should apply to a new pup. Also for that matter same should apply to folk having bloody kids too.
