You're trying your hardest to get out of that comment aren't you?

'I never said Davey', 'I never blamed Barnsley' & 'I never said foreign players'. PMSL.

RE: What has Davey got to do with anything?

"present leadership" - Davey is the manager?

    Had Simon Davey been

Starting the season with a central midfield of Leon & Howard, then I could understand it, too. If Butterfield had been selected, it would've also made sense to me. After all, Simon Davey said earlier this year that the reason he was making Johnson & Togwell available for transfer was to allow young Butterfield to progress towards the first team. However, he didn't. He picked Bobby Hassell out of position again and again the policy failed, as we lost to both QPR and Crewe. I admit this selection wasn't the only reason for our losses, but in my opinion it was a contributing factor. If he wanted a more defence minded player than Leon & Butterfield, then he still had the option to utilise either Togwell or Johnson.

    turned into windy have you?

The 'squirm' comment's don't work for you, leave it to him, he knows what he's doing.

And no, I never said Davey. Call me crazy but I don't think he writes players contracts and things like that.

Manager of the first team squad yes, not leader of the club.

Nobody in particular as I have no idea who would be responsible for registering players and that side of things.

There could well be a reason for it as well, take Van Homoet for example, we signed him in june as bruma but it wasn't until september that we discovered/announced that in actual fact he had to be registered as van homoet. The timing of this coincided with his return from injury which suggests that the registration of him as a Barnsley player had been left until he was match fit and ready to play for us.

Colace, signed in the summer but problems with his registration only come to light a couple of months later when he is match fit and ready for first team action.

Are we leaving the registrations until players are fit and ready? If so then what is the reason for this? I can think of several reasons that make sense. Or are the Football League not dealing with these registrations quickly enough? Instead concentrating on processing the fit players etc.

All I'm saying is that it can't be a series of coincidences can it? Somewhere in the chain between the manager getting a player to the club and then picking him for a game there is some kind of breakdown in the registration process, either at our end or theirs.

Your completely wrong with your statements.

Fifa have said they have given the club a deadline of Thursday to release Colace's papers.....

This has absolutely nothing to do with Davey, Cryne or anyone else "heading up" barnsley football club.
