No chance of that. Turkeys & Christmas. A Labour win is not a done deal sadly, despite all that has happened in this term. Fairly sure most of the northern "Red Wall" will come back to Labour. Lib Dems will take some seats back too, but they no longer stand for much, other than PR, of which I am strongly in favour. The current electoral system is archaic & any argument it results in strong government is utter rubbish, when the Tories had a 80 seat majority.
Now I hope he does as that would just be the ultimate comedy when the Tories get completely annihilated.
I think at the moment Johnson would do better than any other Tory Leader in a GE. Its depressing to even think that but its likely the truth. So some Tory MPs will see him as a better gamble than the other options.
Won’t get any better for them by waiting either. They don’t have enough time to turn things before the next election anyway and if likely they continue to rearrange deck chairs on the titanic the massacre could be even worse if they attempt to ride it out.
I don’t think so not when you have changed leader three times and stuffed it up at every given opportunity. Hopefully my misplaced faith doesn’t make me look stupid in future.
He was 7/1 earlier today. I'm starting to regret not having a punt now. It's the most ludicrous punchline there could ever be to this fiasco, so obviously it's bound to happen.
