    A surprise announcement that we have made an attempt to fill the position most in need of filling.

    Nyatanga has looked impressive when I have seen him and is very highly rated indeed. And that is a different kind of highly rated to 'he plays for Man U so he must be highly rated.'

    Mind, the fact that Davey thought last week we didn't need a defender but this week we do may add some fuel to the AK rumours (maybe a dean Windass - not read board yet as just home from work)
