I think this is ******** & doesn’t even make sense.

I’ve got no issue with what they’re protesting about but I’m furious it’s happening now whilst we’ve still got hundreds a day dying from a pandemic. I do think it’s going to make it a lot tougher for the NHS. It’s dangerous what’s happening. Anyone who’s been near Hyde Park & the centre of London knows it’s not like there’s thousands of car parking spots for people. Many will be sharing public transport & clearly not social distancing.

If you’ve not condemned the late lockdown, Cummings & the packed beaches but are angry about this then I can see an argument that someone could be described as racist but I’ve been outspoken against them all.

They should’ve done online protests now & arranged something for later in the summer when it won’t risk thousands of lives.

The Lee Rigby thing is one of the daftest comparisons I’ve ever seen. He wasn’t killed by police, his killers were instantly arrested, there isn’t a long history of soldiers been attacked in public.

On Joshua, I don’t think what he’s said this time necessarily makes him racist but I can’t moan at anyone calling him a racist when he’s been caught out saying blacks are a superior race previously.

But it’s still wrong choose how much you Try to champion it .
Trying to ridicule people responding to a post that was aimed at them does you no favours other than a highlighting your tantrum .
I was stood on no soapbox ST highlighted my post I responded . It might make the detractors cheer and like but it’s meaningless .
Black lives is not a movement solely for Black people who are killed getting arrested although it does encompass that .
It’s also about murder of black people by white people that lots of times doesn’t get even .investigated .
It’s about Trayvon Martin who was shot by a neighbourhood watch for no other reason that he thought he’d committed a crime although no crime had been committed . The neighbourhood watch guy turned out to be a known racist in the area he was never convicted claiming self Defense even though Trayvon had no weapon .
It’s about Ahmaud Arbery who was out jogging during daylight(as if that should matter) and was chased and shot and filmed .
His killers weren’t even arrested till Black lives Matter highlighted the case .
People have been Shouted down for supporting the Black lives matter movement in posts and had the all lives matter rebuke and now . were accused of shouting from a soap box whilst answering posts because they don’t like the reply .and then they say there’s no agenda . Yeah right

That’s the point I’ve been making exactly, Black lives matter isn’t a one case movement it encompasses a whole range of things in USA and now it’s going worldwide .
Lots of people really think there’s no problems with race and racists only exist on keyboards or rallies .
There’s hidden racism which only the victims see and have to live with .

I agree, it was poor what he said. Like you say, he’s in a position to bring people together. Can’t comment on sharing Tommy’s stuff, not on social media apart from this forum.

I Heard EVERYTHING he said, I don’t need to look. The sentence he said about only shopping in their shops wasn’t very good, no matter who wrote it. Who in their right mind would read something out to a crowd, especially at the weekend without reading it. Granted, the rest of it was ok, but I stand by my point yesterday, if Farage or Robinson had said it, it would’ve been front page news.

So out of the whole current issue of racism and police violence that's going on in the world and out of the whole body of what one man said that was almost completely conciliatory and urging people to act peacefully you're happy to focus on the one sentence from that one man.
I'm not accusing you of being racist or even casually racist. I do think that there's a search for something to deflect the support for reform and it's a trap they want people to fall into.

Having heard Farage's comments from this morning about BLM being akin to a Marxist Taliban, I think we can safely say the message and actions of removing false idols and calling for change is getting under the modern day fascists skin.

Nice to see the Black head in Derbyshire has been removed. It might have been grade II listed but in this day and age can't believe it was still in public view. Get it in a museum with a slightly scuffed and seaweedy Colston.

You was the one who mentioned Farage and Robinson in the 1st place. I cant understand how anyone takes Robinson seriously first he said he was just against muslims and what they were about and he wasnt a racist, then he mixed it up with catholics on twitter and the celtic and rangers thing now he is on it with BLM the bloke just tries to spread as mich hate as he can and gullible sheep follow. The blokes real name isnt even tommy robinson says alot.

******* hell, I thought Trump couldn't go any lower. He's now making up conspiracy theories about the 75 year old guy who ended up with a fractured skull. By the way the old lad does a lot of work for charities and the local Catholic Church.

God it goes from bad to worse.

Sorry Redrum, I thought I’d seen their names on another post, can’t remember. It was just a point about what was said, I could have mentioned a number of names and got the same response. I don’t follow TR or Farage nor condone or agree with most of their views.

Churton, it was just a point about what was said. I am not saying Joshua is racist, don’t know the bloke. Merely pointing out that if someone else said what he said it would have made headlines. Don’t think BBC or Sky even mentioned that bit. I do not condone or agree with racism or condone police violence. But if you’ve read my other posts I didn’t agree with the protests, especially during a pandemic.

    Fights announced against Fury.

It's already a white versus black issue looking at social media.

Really looking forward to the fight, but the build up will not be pretty.

I know little about boxing. It appears to be one of the most corrupt sports out there. To my untrained eye though it seems to be an issue of one likeable guy against a total wazzock of a human being.

From the news excerpts and bits and pieces I've seen in the media Fury appears to be the wazzock.

Having just followed up on google it appears he has renounced his previous appalling comments. I hope he's seen the light.
