I venture no further than my back garden and front doorstep (at 8 o'clock on a Thursday evening)! I still wear my tracksuit and sneakers, though!:D

72 Muppets who went on a lockdown protest in Wisconsin USA most of em claiming the Virus was a hoax and didnt exist have now tested positive for it after they became ill. The likely place of infection was narrowed down to the march yet the dumb ***** will still be laying there saying it's all a government conspiracy.

The police (following the Government health guidelines) could use soapy water in the cannons and keep it going for at least 20 seconds.;)
    That should do the trick!!

Oh and the lockdown should be questioned. Constantly. Otherwise we’ll sleepwalk into a loss of civil liberties.

The school in France in another thread. Chinese schools disinfecting children. Unable to attend funerals of loved ones. Unable to give your old man or your grandkids a hug. Unable to visit friends and family. Handcock stating you’ll not be able to hug anyone new.
The mental toll that people have and are suffering from under this lockdown and the scaremongers overplaying the risk. The long term health impacts be it from cancellations or being scared to attend the quacks in case they catch C19.

The overzealous policing, the curtain twitching, European resorts patrolled by social distancing robots.

There have been varying degrees of protests in the following countries...

    Ivory Coast
    Kenya
    Malawi
    Nigeria
    Rwanda
    South Africa
    Pakistan
    China
    India
    Israel
    Iraq
    Lebanon
    Russia
    France
    Germany
    Italy
    Poland
    The states
    The UK

The rest of Europe and indeed large parts of the world are unlocking, going back to something that’s as close to normal as possible yet in the UK you’ll be lucky to get a haircut by August.

Oh and the epicentre of the UK epidemic London, a city that has avoided any sort of social distancing on public transport and at best even with everything shut still be classed as over crowded shithole with a higher percentage of at risk ethnic groups will have based there are having based on the media reports... fewer than 24 new cases a day with modelling suggesting London will have beaten the virus.

There is no problem with questioning the lockdown and not allowing the government to get away with taking away liberties unchecked
Its quite different deliberately planning a mass gathering - thats just stupid.

But I am far more concerned buy the Anti vaxer movement - which bizzarely has been gaining strength during this pandemic. I just don't understand how anyone can take the view that all vaccines are bad -even ones that havent been developed yet, despite the overwhelming evidence in their favour - or did the evil aliens controlling the world invent small pox rabies measles scarlett fever outbreaks in the history books.

Even if a handful of people developed Autism after vaccination with MMR - a theory that has been proven to be untrue in any case, the odds of severe complications or even death from measles are far higher than the alleged risk of Autism. For corona - if a vaccine is developed and properly tested - even in the unlikely event of side effects affecting a small pecentage of the population its a total no brainer to have it and can someone explain to me why Bill Gates is seen as the devil incarnate to these people - I am genuinely baffled

What are people's thoughts on the protest that took place in Barnsley this week?
Not a protest against the lockdown but a protest against people working.

Opposite side of the coin but surely the same criticism must go their way?

If they weren't social distancing then they're stupid.

Regardless of whether they were or not isn't it an unnecessary reason to be outside? It isn't excercise so it's no different to protesting the other way. Nobody knows how socially distanced a planned anti lockdown protest would be but it didn't stop the criticism

I'm always one to back peaceful protest but somehow I can't see these being socially distanced as the sort that would go on them dont really seem to think there is anything to worry about virus wise as its all made up to control us.

Fair point. Ban all protests from either side then.
