I'd like to see what percentage of black players are still living in the UK after their retirement compared to how many white players are. I think that is more important than how many are playing in the first place.
Aye. I think a fairer stat for comparison is what % of England is 'black'. The answer to which is almost exactly representative of the amount of black managers.
It's not necessarily fair to correct people for their awful grammar or spelling on a board such as this. But you do keep saying "Here Here". Go and google it.
I would say these complaints that race is the cause of sacking managers is exactly what will drive clubs towards positive discrimination.
It's reight though. I'd genuinely never heard of him. And he'd had no experience. So to get a Prem job like that, he did well. But I'm not surprised he's got the boot and don't think his colour has owt to do with it.
Spot on. At the start of this season, the percentage of black managers in the Premier League and the Football League was higher than the percentage of ethnic minorities in a England.
Re: and have you proof this IS the case referring to 'thereev' of course. I thowt we all knew he is a ****.
Absolutely spot on. There is no issue here, but as Spider alluded to earlier in the thread, the grievance free-for-all has become such an industry now that the imaginary flames must be constantly fanned to keep people in jobs and maintain certain profiles (see Ouseley, Sir Herman). This kind of nonsense only ever damages 'the cause', whatever that may be this week, and you have to assume that the perpetrators know this and simply don't care, so long as someone is paying them some attention.
