three lanes at the roundabout... left, turn left, middle straight over to the dual carriage way then right up into town, this lovely person pulls up next to me most mornings on the right hand side wanting to go down the dual carraige way thinking he can beat me from the off. One winner im afraid
I assume your 22 year old licence is just for a car, just check it for provisional bike licence entitlement. You'll be able to ride a 125cc on L plates for about 3 years, but you'll have to do CBT first. Car insurance is pretty irrelevent for getting bike insurance, as you'll still be classed as a new rider. Your training school will check your licence for you. You will also have to pass your theory test before you take the practical test. It's not that hard and it's the same one as car drivers take. Book it online (about £25 IIRC) and you take it in Sheffield. The rules are changing for the worse, so don't hang about. I took my test with Dave at top-run.co.uk based in Stairfoot near Beatson Clarks. He supplies the bikes, cost is included with the lessons. Riding a bike is bloody brilliant!! Especially in the wilds of Scotland.
