One opened recently in Leeds, the owners went round America researching the proper places before opening it. It's got a proper pit smoker and everything. The meat is great but it's always rammed and they don't take bookings.

Heard good reports of that place in Leeds from American ex-pats over here. There's also a decent place in Chester.

Thinking me and the missus should open something similar or an American diner type place. She makes great pulled pork (not sure that came out right!)

There are loads of them round here, we have a guy with a smoker at the side of the road hes in prime location right next to NIH national institute of health and Walter Reed Military Hospital, where all the badly injured go and also The Presidents hospital too.
Hes always got lines with at least 20 people in there.
The smell as you drive by is wonderful and the pulled pork with hot sauce is amazing.

Get a mobile smoker built and replace the baked spud man in town, BBQ Is so much better

Don't let this put you off then.

I genuinely saw this in a shop window in Istanbul.

Went to Nottingham beer fest last year and amongst all the food places there, there was a pizza van with a wood fired oven inside. Quick and tasty pizzas. I'm looking into the possibility of getting one and going round beer and music festivals.

I have a strange memory for stuff like that. I remember finding it incredibly funny at the time - it was so perfectly drunkenly literal.
