    That's one of the reasons

that Laura and myself can't always go with Kev on matchdays having to buy 2 extra tickets and then possibly food and drink. Kev has his ticket, but with working shifts can't always get so doesn't really get the benefit of paying up front. The other is obviously her health.

I don't think that it would require much extra work to be honest.

You buy a part season ticket just the same as you would any other season ticket and choose a seat in just the same way then on your season ticket form you tick the boxes of 10 games and wait for your ticket printing with the 10 games printed on them (they could just be 10 ordinary tickets for the games rather than an actual book to cut costs) then if you decide you can't make one of your chosen games and want to swap it for another game you pop into the box office hand in a ticket and they print off one for another game for you, maybe with an administration cost of £2 a time to cover the clubs cost.

That way the club isnt having to pay for a full season ticket booklet to be printed so they're saving money, they know which games your seat is sold for because it's logged on the system as a normal ticket sale for the games you chose and you get to change games if you need to for a small fee that covers the clubs costs.

    Under 11's?

    * Insert your own Johnny Coachdriver pun here.

£60 or £30 for kids isn't going to make them watch *****.
My nephew, after enjoying the first few games he went to, now doesn't want to come after the Wednesday debacle.
Scarred for life by Robbie Williams in midfield.

So Kev in particular would benefit

from being able to buy a ticket for say 10 or 15 games at a cost that probably worked out more per game than a season ticket but less than paying matchdays?

or all you do is have a book with 10 vouchers in it and surrender a voucher for a match ticket for the matches you wish to attend. For high profile games you get to order your ticket a few days before general sale.

He still gets a bit of benefit by having a ST

but yes it would be better by having a voucher for say 15 matches at less than match day prices.

the club needs to work on its entertainment side of things just as much as the cost. Even if the football was crap a young kid might still keep interest if there was good entertainment on the pitch before the game and at half time.
Local stand up comedy acts, singers etc something that's better than a bloke kicking a ball at a shed anyway

that works too. The only problem with that is they'd have to have a seperate turnstyle open for the special tickets I imagine.

why ? You'd get a normal ticket as you would if you were a cash buyer you just be able to 'buy' it a few days earlier.

I know someone in the same situation, he cant make everygame but by having a season ticket he would still save a bit of money compared to match day prices but like he said, whats the point? Half of those games are boring unatractive games anyway, he might as well just pick and choose when to go. So far he's been to about 5 games this season.

Oops yeah sorry, I missed an important part of your post out lol. I thought you said that they'd use a voucher to get into games but on big games theyd buy the ticket in advance. I like your theory actually, there would be a minimal administration fee to the club in doing it but they'd just have to factor that into the cost of the ticket. It's a good idea an would enable them to sell 10, 15 and even maybe 20 game booklets.
