Tom Masters. Acousti-pop and great singer. Does his own songs too. He's on Facey. Youll recognise him by his big afro
The Garrison has a great room for gigs in terms of size etc, but the acoustics are always terrible. Hate playing there or listening to bands there.
They were fantastic everyone loved them. Did us a massive favour with price. We would defo have the back and pay full. We almost cancelled too as they were supposed to play after our first game but it got cancelled due to weather and a nob head quad biker ruining our alternate pitch. Glad we went ahead with it anyway. Still a few down and everyone really enjoyed it. i was gonna put a post on here saying how good they were but I flew to Benidorm early the next morning and pickled my brain for 4 days and completely forgot
Cheers bud' my sister in law has just took a pub on so i'll recommend them to her' hopefully they could do her a decent price' thanks for the update mate..
You could get in touch with Broken Flowers. The Singer, who writes all their stuff, is from Barnsley, but lives in Wakefield. The other band members are from Leeds and Wakefield. Whilst most of their stuff is self penned they do some covers. The music style is Americana, but not American, (Steve Earle, Bob Seger). They've been support to Big Country , Steve Forbert and done festivals BUT they've also done charity gigs for nothing because they just love gigging. Get in touch through their website of facebook and I'm sure they'll help you out. https://brokenflowers.uk/index.html
