I mean the usual few Kermit etc that have to jump on anything that’s not positive, there are a few on here.

Usually including me to a degree. I like to try and be balanced.
On the Palmer issue, he had an easy ride under Val as the only job of the midfield was to boost the ball up top ASAP and then push up.
On Jalo there's no real way to judge him as he's never had any sort of a run of games. It's impossible for anyone to play to their potential with 20 minutes here and there. This season he has to be forcing himself into the team and have a manager willing to let him.

I don't think it's down to age mate but his physical stature. Marsh looks as though he can compete with the bigger boys than a couple of seasons ago. I'm hoping we've got an Ivan Tony on our hands. Jalo is not a goal poacher like he is. But oozes quality.

Must just be me sees a different kid(Jalo), goes down easy, not big enough and rarely beats a man ( sorry person for the wet wipes). Marsh has never looked like he can compete at our level either.

Playing catch up. Has it been confirmed it’s a dislocation injury or second guessing?

He's only 18 mate (Jalo) . Too much is expected of him for such a young age. He rips his age group and u21s/u23s whatever it is, apart.

Marsh now has to crack on. But will he be given a chance of a regular start or more time from the bench. Bulked up as I say.

That's because the 1st 12 weeks is taken up waiting for an appointment.

I'd definitely trust the opinion of Portugal's selectors over yours to be fair!

Believe you said that before! We’ll see if he’s a first team regular don’t forget Brek Shea was a full international for the US and lots of players have played for U18, U19, U21 and never done owt.

I'd like to see both Jalo & Marsh pushing for a first team spot this season. Personally, I have faith in the two lads, even if it puts me in the minority on here.

I couldn't believe somebody saying similar to that, about him on here recently.
That he won't make it into Portugal's squad one day, as he's not good enough and has done almost nothing for us at Lg One level, etc.

I haven't seen enough of Jalo, just hopeful that he's as good as he's been hyped. Marsh, I've seen a bit more and I can't see him as a quality league one striker but I hope I'm substantially wrong.

Remember watching Jon Parkin and Rory Fallon playing last game of season one year / the hope was they’d be the strikers next season . Both had gone by start of season / think fans / clubs need more patience to let Young ones develop and become regulars

I reckon Marsh will go on to score 20 goals in a season for someone . Hope it’s us.
