he took my cds off jukebox at time when only me and mates went in - lost 6 lads x 6 nights a week money. Not been in for last 6 years
one good thing about the penistone reds supporters club not be long before you all feel like family</p>
Springvale Club......... Is it still going? I had a few evenings in the club some time back in the 1980's? Also had a couple of drinks in the Spread Eagle on occasion - what's the name of the boozer to the right (on the corner) as you look out of the Eagle? On one occasion, about 1978ish, i was asked along for the day to srive around with my nextdoor neighbour's daughter (i was 13 and she was 19 and looked like that Agnetha from Abba). Suffice to say i said "go on then". Anyhow; we were driving through Penistone and a load of Wednesdayites threw their chips and beer onto the car as we drove by. The lady in question commented "I don't know why, but they always do this as i pass by every Friday?". It certainly didn't help as she was driving around in one of thos elottery cars with the Barnsly emblem on it.
very early days so depends mate on if this is gonna be a realistic adventure. If numbers prove then great
got shut down now a school area. got knocked back to be strip joint and snooker hall, and another club. lost too much money
Just got new Penistone Reds flag today - massive. Have a look out for me today putting it up and come have a chat.
Any Coach Is Better Than Official Coach They charge more than anywhere else, set off too late to enjoy a pre match drink and the Gordon coaches they use are not nice at all.
