It doesn't make sense. If the club agrees a fee and the player agrees to the move, surely they are both breaking the contract.
I agree with you. In my opinion, they should only be entitled in the events of their personal circumstances becoming worse after the move. Though I suppose they can't legally say to the player that if they break the contract(by formally asking for the transfer) they will be financially penalised, but hold the clubs to differing standards(the club basically telling a player he is no longer wanted by accepting a transfer bid against his wishes). Like I say, I might be barking up the wrong tree, or I may be the subject of a prank but I trust the word of the lads I know(including the one I'm related to).
No, because the player will only agree the move providing that his present club are prepared to honour his contract I suspect that Wilks would have to agree to cancel his current contract to go to Hull, otherwise he will still be here in Feb Whatever you think about our current board I don’t see them taking a big hit with such a move
