and tickets are available bang outside the ground. There is a wall, with offical tickets behind sold behind security bars . seating plan infront of you. also you can get them from cash machines type things in the city center.

Can't see any problem getting tickets against Villareal. They only get close to selling out against Madrid and maybe Vallencia. Also worth doing the stadium tour some time while you are there

I went a couple of years ago (with Royston Exile) to see Barca v Espanyol. Our whole experience was brilliant. Be careful though if you are only going specifically to take in a match. Im not sure of the days exactly, I think the match was scheduled for a Wednesday, so we decided to book flights for the Tuesday and return home on Thursday. At short notice we bagan to panic a touch because the SPanish have a tendancy to change the day of a fixture at short notice. The game was re-arranged for the Tueday night - the day of our flight! Luckily we got to our hotel (which was only a 5 minute run from the airport) about 3 hours before kick off. We dropped our stuff in our room, and got ready straight away. We were hungry, so we got a taxi to the Nou Camp and asked the driver to drop us off anywhere to eat near the ground. Seeing as it was so close to the ground though we went and bought tickets from a little ticket office window joined onto the ground. There was a stadium plan on the counter and prices clearly laid out - we just had to point to an area and the nice woman sorted out our tickets - only about £20 IIRC per ticket. We sat in the top tier, and I expected the players to look like dots on the pitch - but the view was fantastic. We were seated only one block away from the vocal Espanyol fans (only one tiny block of them too surprisingly - but they sung their hearts out all match) There's a short strip of bars that do snap just across the road from the ground, and this is where you found a lot of the local fans. The prices were awesomely cheap, had pizza and a beer for about £4!

At least with the match being moved to the Tuesday we had all day Wednesday to trip around Barcelona. We walked miles that day. Although we were knackered after that day, it was definately the best trip away i've ever had. Even thought he frickin' game finished 0-0.

Get it booked mate - i'd love to do it again.

The hat was originally manufactured sans ****. The **** was subsequently added. It has been cocked. It is a cocked hat.

Is it not then a '**** added hat' ? This is intriguing.

    You're quite sure about this.

I'm going to consult a linguistics expert.

RE: From my original post, has anyone been to a game there and how go about getting tickets? nt

You go and queue up at the ground either the day before or the morning of the match. That's what we did a few years back. There's no flash ticket office just a load of holes in a concrete wall.
