    Housing alot cheaper than over here. Anyone in construction/ engineering can walk into a job straight away - most rapidly expanding cities in the world (Calgary & Vancouver), plus gearing up for Winter Olympics, so desperately need tradesmen.

    My family in Calgary cannot get a tradesman for anything without having to wait months - such a shortage of trades/ engineer types to meet demand.

    Good quality of life. Climate a bit extreme though.
