    He is. He was brilliant for us in the 90s and our greatest ever manager, but it was that soft spot that got him a job that's too much for him. When asked by Radio Sheffield if he'd thought about playing two up front he brought up needing the personnel. Erm the personnel you won't play up front is your own expensive premiership loan signing.

    He's not different to COG. He was brought in to back up COG as he was towing with an injury.

    And you assume he is expensive. We are paying worse players more...

    I think we can afford quality players, but only one or two.

    Problem is, we have spent a shed load of money on players that have not really worked out for us - Brek Shea, Prostwichz, McCourt, Frimpong, Woods, Lawrence. None of them really added quality and continuity to the team.

    Im not convinced with Lawrence, his distribution is poor and lacks the speed he once had (inevitable with age i guess).

    Agreed though, we did waste serious money in summer.

    thought lawrence has played ok today , best of a bad bunch in midfield today . he did at least try to get us going forward . we was poor today , but looking at bench we dont have many options to change , unless we play a few young ones
