Used to cost less

For a return from Burley Park to Barnsley than from Leeds to Barnsley - figure that one out.

Yep, i will be there(pint) (pint) (pint) Dont worry about all that policing crap, and it is now standard procedure to close the bar for an hour around tea time to allow a "cooling down" period

Hope the atmosphere is as good as it was at Edgbaston, sat right in with the Ausssies, gave em loads of stick, and got some back, they didnt take too well to the national anthem, slightly changed to "God save YOUR gracious queen , long live YOUR noble queen" etc everyone singing and pointing at them.

Really shut them up with, to the tune of yellow submarine "you all live in a convict colony, a convict colony, a convict colony"(lol) (lol) (lol)

Do they do this at all Cricket grounds?

Or just at Headingley after the trouble when all Pakistan fans stormed the field wearing Stone Island & started batteling

    Headingley and Alcohol

What always amuses me at Headingley test matches is the "ban on improrting alcohol" yet bars are open at 10:45....!!!

Everyone just gets a 4 pint box...or gets a pass out for the shop over the road....and drinks outside the gates...

They will take any ale off you at the gate, and shut for about an hour around tea time, not a big problem, just buy a bigger round just before tea, thats what we do, simples (pint) (pint) Are you going?

I'm there on Saturday and Sunday....help needed.

.... Off for a night out in Leeds Saturday.....

Any recommendations for a set of 35ish lads on a night out in Leeds. Lack of kids is a good thing but on the other hand we dont get off the leash very often.

    Im there today

9.42 train out of Barnsley. If Im sober enough, I'll give a brief run down of how officious the stewarding has been when I get in.
