Yup...I'm branded as overly aggressive and threatened with a ban when I point out that certain clique members are boring tw&ts...
I just don't want them to qualify what's wrong with that Only same as not wanting Sheffield Wednesday to do well I never mentioned any of the above Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Why is it? Probably mere coincidence that it's a Catholic country with a number of Celtic fans. It's bigotry.
Your words not mine Your looking too much into this and looking for something that isn't there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've always supported the home nations when it comes to international football. Its bias with Ireland as I have Irish relatives but I have no particular allegiance to Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland yet I'm always happier if they get a good result. Regardless of their animosity towards England, I still like to see them do well. Perhaps it's a natural sway towards the underdog.
I think Northern Ireland's achievement in actually winning their group in particularly impressive. Both they & Wales have had very little success on the international stage, so the fact they've both qualified for next year's tournament will make it special. If Eire can also qualify, then that'd be four teams I can get behind and support.
My grandad was irish but if I'm been honest I'm not particularly arsed about ROI......it does appear though that if you dislike another country you are labelled a racist!! I don't really see differnce in disliking Scotland Wales etc to Leeds or Sheff Utd.... As for plane crashing that's a very inappropriate comment
I'm delighted for Northern Ireland, they've overcome alot and the run they've been on has been unreal. I'll keep my eye on them, they can get through a game on passion alone which is more than what can be said for England. I was delighted to see ROI not qualify last night but that had nowt to do with the fact that I like Rangers. I'm not a fan of the ROI simply because of the amount of players that play for them who aren't actually Irish! 14 of their squad they took to the last euros had 8 players born in England, 4 from Northern Ireland and 2 from Scotland who all qualified to play for them because of there grandparents. That rule is a load of ******** to me.
