I do go sometimes But it can be expensive for us at times , paying for Kev , Laura and myself . I keep up to date with the scores on the BBS , then I know what mood to expect Victor Meldrew to be in later !!!ff
RE: Back in August 1968 Brilliant post - that's exactly how I'm feeling too but I couldn't have put it better than that. I remember that game, our first back in the Third Division after promotion from the fourth - there was a big crowd and huge anticipation, and of course it had all been deflated by 20 to 5 (that's when they used to finish in them days!). The difference then was that people just shrugged their shoulders and carried on regardless - no clamour for managers to be sacked or players dropped. It still hurt as much - but we were a lot more philosophical and expectations weren't running overboard. I detect we might be coming back down to earth a bit more right now - I really hope so.
oh yes me brother is here in hong kong we`ve got the beer now all we need is the right result.
yooooooooooooooou redssssssssssss

If a player had a bad game It was just one of those things . I don't ever recall the crowd wanting Johnny Steele to be sacked . If a new player was signed , it didn't matter which club we'd bought him from ie "we don't want him , he's from Darlington/Scnuthorpe/Mansfield etc".
