    She is an actress in her other job. She plays Polly from Fawlty Towers in a stage version of the hotel series. She takes her role very seriously and immerses herself in it.

    Seriously I don't think she can cope with Victor Meldrew impersonators trying to engage her in a serious conversation.

    By the way last night she was reading a book and gave me the nastiest of nasty looks when I had the cheek to interrupt her in mid-chapter to ask for a pint.
