Many people would read that as a ruse to mask a struggle with your own latent homosexuality? Not me, but some might.

I didn't see the 1st Test as it was only shown on DirecTV in the USA, which I don't have, and as it was 3:00 AM no bars were open to watch it.

However, next Saturday I will be in some bar, yet to be identified, in Auckland to watch the 2nd Test.

A week later I will be in th ANZ Stadium to see the 3rd Test live.

    I can't wait.

You jammy beggar, obviously that third test is now going to be either a crunch decider, or a party for the Lions fans having already won the series 2-0. Either way it'll be one he'll of an atmosphere! Make sure you have a beer (or ten) for me kid.

Quite clearly a forward pass and would have been given so in all the years I played.....however I've just read Ian Robertsons take on the 2007 rule change( with a little instructional video)...it seems that the forward pass is now OK!!..strange decision to change a rule thats been in existence since rugby started.

I think the coming out of the hand backwards thing is helpful as there's so many close calls and that gives the refs a clear reference point to work with. I didn't think it was clearly forwards anyway, even after seeing a few replays. Then again it's immaterial now eh?

Don't like union, love league. But like watching the lions, didn't deserve to win for me, but that's life.

Prefer watching league to union, tends to be more exciting and flowing, union really needs to look at the rules again as it was far better to watch before they fiddled with the scrum and ruck/maul rules.

Mind you I preferred playing union over league, tended to get less sh*t kicked out of you in the 15 man game.

Don't think I'd agree we didn't deserve to win, we were clearly the better team in the first half, and we did gift Australia many of their chances in the second through poor play/defence. I'm not sure their failure to convert should be attributed to our good luck any more than their limitations.

Really strange format. Seems an outdated concept which gave northern hemisphere teams a chance. Ridiculous. Money making.

League is a far better sport to watch and far more physically demanding, shame the toffs version is more popular.

Like you say it's immaterial now,but I've got to say I think it gives the ref less of a reference point than before,at least the lines on the pitch and the cut marks made by the mowers were a pretty clear indicator with this rule he needs a mental protractor...my guess is the rule change was suggested by one or more of the southern hemisphere unions to encourage the scoring of more points...a bit like making the goals bigger at football.
