I think it is great that we are even linked with players such as Kevin Phillips, never mind signing him.

There are numerous posts on here from people who are promising to do all sorts of obscene things if he signs - I sincerely hope I can join in with such festivities if and when it happens.

I will reserve judgement on our prospects until I can see what sort of a squad we have - and even then it will be difficult until I have a chance to get to know the new players. I cannot understand why people assume we are going to be *****. We may turn out to be so, but at this stage how do we know?

Anyway I for one am looking forward to the season.

The ones on about shaking their middle stump over the signing are a little wrong, but the people who plan on showing their arse on the town hall steps can go for it haha.
