    I'd agree.

    I didn't see Preston but heard it wasn't great by all accounts. Barring the Brentford game and the first half against Luton, we have competed, we're just poor in both boxes whether that's missing guilt-edged chances or gifting opposition goals.

    They often come hand in hand but I'd always choose results over performances.

    That Donny away game is right up there with the worst games of football I've ever seen. Although, it seems there's some old 'uns on here so there's probably a fair few worse that I wasn't present at.

    Your second sentence, I've literally just written those exact words in a reply to another poster. I am hoping that once we sort this out, we can start picking up some decent points. It needs to happen soon though.

    Anyroadon, I can't be bothered (now that I know) to go. 100 mile round trip for what ? If they win you lads can share the spoils tonight, I'll keep me mouth shut.
    The rate I feel I will probably forget about it again today and miss all the excitement tonight. Hope you enjoy it.

    Yes I will be going on the off chance we might, might..get a result. Playing a top six side, won once at home, on TV, caretaker manager (sorry coach) ,just lost a local derby, exmanager in charge.....not great prospect of a win but hope springs eternal. Been watching the reds since 1968 so one more match ain't gonna make much difference. Still get excited as I walk down Oakwell lane with the floodlights in the distance. It's in my blood. COYREDS.!

    I’ve had a tough 10 days or so in my own life so I’m looking forward to the game this evening and getting back to normal. Fingers crossed we get that win we badly need.

    Our current predicament is not down to the players. We are in this mess purely down to the owner's failure to understand British football. Their policy of selling the core of a successful Div. 1 team and replacing them with cheap kids, who potentially come good, is not good enough for the Championship. We are supporters. We must support the team. Remember we'll still be here when these owners are not.

    I'll be going. Great company with barnsleyy66, jedi one, nezbfc & his clan, Jay & his family. I'll give my backing to the lads on the pitch and Adam Murray. Just because I dislike intensely the way the 'suits' have behaved these past few months doesn't mean I stop being a Barnsley supporter.
    I'm certainly not telling other fans how they should act. Neither do I accept any advice on what I should do.
