Me and the Mrs went up the east coast last autumn , we started in Lindesfarne (I know its in England) stopping off in Dunbar and North Berwick en-route to an overnight stay in Edinburgh overlooking the castle . Day two , we drove across to Glasgow and down the West coast stopping off at Prestwick for a round of golf followed by a rather enjoyable evening of drinks and curry in Ayr . Day three , we followed the stunning coast road down past Troon and Turnberry , lunch in Stranraer before the long treck home . Really enjoyed it but absolutely knackering .
If only! It wouldn't be safe in our house anyway. Last year I caught the wife drinking my Lagavulin with DRY GINGER because she'd run out of the cooking stuff she normally uses.
