Go to the turn style with a bottle of a cider a checked shirt and chewing some straw and you will pass off as a native.

Being something of a pussy, I was thinking more along the lines of the safety threat. One or two in a home end can keep their mouth shut and be ok. But if there are 700 of us and that is not something the Bristol Rovers meat heads take kindly to, it could be carnage as soon as we score and some can't keep their emotions hidden.

Keep safe people. I suspect most BRFC will be welcoming and tolerant. But it seems inevitable that some won't be. We all have them.

I'll be safe. I'll be at Oakwell or a town centre pub :)

Is the 700 figure from any kind of source or just a guess?

I suppose it's possible that figure has come from a Bristol source. They will know how many new registrations they've had, who have then bought tickets for this match.

Nevertheless, it seems unlikely that the number will be less than several dozen, possibly stretching into hundreds. I am trying to imagine a couple of hundred away fans in the ponte without it kicking off. I can't.

They have nothing to play for so the rovers fans will be relaxed. So long as we don’t insult them or their club we will all enjoy ourselves I’m sure.
Just as long as we beat the wa##kers

I’m joking of course. The Bristol people are lovely folk and we will find them all very friendly and welcoming
