Roy absolutely anyone I know could get married on a Saturday and I wouldn't go, way I see it is they can't be that bothered about me going to their wedding if they're doing it on a match day.
People have a three month off season to get married in. But not everyone can afford to hire a church, reception venue etc in the peak months of the year. It is amusing though that people who aren't religious and haven't been to church ever for a sunday service like to get married just because it's seen as the thing to do.
I got married on Sunday 23rd of December, wife knows I don't go in churches, or miss football, so I went to Bristol City away on the 22nd and got married in a hotel the day after.
299 tickets sold, so probably around 350 will be there tomorrow. Not a bad effort at all, half the amount that went last season but it's not a "new" ground this time around and it's still early days yet with nothing really riding on it like last time. Hopefully a similar result though
