Not a Twitter user mate but obviously one of ours then...hope the club tracks him and issues a ban.sad to think any of us may sit near or have contact with this individual......
I've reported it too - it's still there a day later. Yet all I hear from certain parts of the political spectrum is them moaning about Cancel Culture.
How thick can you be to not only have these views to begin with, but then to publish them in a very traceable manner online, leading to an inevitable football ban and prosecution? Gets everything he deserves.
Absolute filth. Hopefully he can be identified, and at least, be banned from Oakwell. He is not welcome.
Going by his username he's almost certainly called Brendan/Brenden, right? There can't be that many people of that name and that age who has a season ticket (he posted about having one last year).
All the social media companies are the same, they turn a blind eye to blatantly unacceptable posts on their platforms and it can only be for one of two reasons. 1. They've all managed to unknowingly staff their entire 'community guidelines' reviewers with bigots who think these posts are acceptable or 2. Despite what they publicly claim their true guidelines allow these kind of posts. I personally feel that the latter is true and that their 'guidelines' are just for show with the real deciding factor on whether a post is removed or not being how much engagement it is generating for the company. If it's got 100 people visiting the page to look and is getting many complaints it stays as it's making money. If it's a private squabble between two people and not being viewed by anyone else it gets deleted. An example of this is on tiktok where women are routinely making videos of themselves in bikini's or just a towel and they are not removed. There have been teenage girls do the same and it's apparently fine but if a guy takes his shirt off its removed. The reason? One gets lots of views and interactions the other doesn't.
I've had an acknowledgement from Twitter, and (for me at least) the offensive Tweet is now hidden behind a View button.
You weren't saying that last night!!! I'm not wrong, you weren't. Mainly because it would have been a random thing to suddenly post out of the blue but still you weren't.
That defence doesn't work with a romantic interest either. "How dare you call me a so and so?! " "Because you clearly are one!" Tends to exacerbate the situation if owt.
