16-1 seems quite generous to me, can’t think of one thing to put into the positive column for Schoop- 1. Any individual player(s) coming on/doing better? No 2. Team progressing? Can you see a plan that’s being worked to? No 3. Players look like they believe they can win and current position is down to bad luck? No, we’ve been lucky to pick up draws. The whole direction is going the wrong way, you can point to a coach sometimes and say the club looks like a good fit and we can see fortune changing and improvements are there to see. You simply cannot say that with Schopp. Once that other striker is fit (and I’m sure our owners are wondering what training regeme the coach has which means after 4 weeks of training he’s only just ready, maybe, possibly, to play), then if we don’t start scoring goals or at least look like we could score goals (- lowest number of shots in the championship wasn’t it?) then he’s got to go.
They got 4 points so it can't have been 8 in a row as they drew the last match they played. I don't think sacking Stendel.has any bearing on whether Schopp gets the sack though.
Can't say I agree with your comments regarding Stendel. We had a worse start to the season than we have had this year. He also didn't change his tactics despite it being obvious they didn't work at Championship level with the players he had. Some of the players looked completely shot of confidence too, Mads Anderson being the prime example.
