indie red. i see you have the vaccines as your picture. there playing a concert here in DC next week, were thinking of going are they any good in concert
Used to like him on HIGNFY, he still has his moments. Plenty better than him though. Mickey F is my favourite atm. Stewart Francis is quality too.
Yeah I like him, got a couple of dvds. Personally, I think some ppl take him too seriously - he's only a comedian. Tend to prefer watchin him when drunk or in a bad mood tho
Ross Noble has got to be my favourite. Perhaps not for everyone but there's a good chance you'll be in stitches if you give him a look. Almost everything is improvised so no two gigs are alike; hence about 6 hours worth of material on each DVD. Definitely value for money unlike some who put an already released gig out in the illusion that it's new material (Ahem Peter Kay..)
He's clearly not **** when he's selling out arenas up and down the country and earning that much money. What I think you mean is he's not your cup-a-tea, thats fine, but he's obviously not ****. I didn't think he was my style either till r lass took me to see him, he was excellent. Its like me sitting here and saying "that ****ing one direction are ****", they obviously arent. They aren't making the music I'd listen to, but they are clearly not **** as they are selling a ****ing **** load a songs.
Ah thought so yeah it is my opinion and obviously there are people that like him... A lot at that! I just can't laugh at anything he says, it's not because he's posh or anything like that, because I love Jimmy Carr and Jack Whitehall. I just find his gags tedious... Plus watching him wobble his head about like he does makes me go dizzy! :S
Saw him years ago and it was indeed very hard work sitting in the front two rows. On edge all night...
Has some corking one liners, but I find his full routine a bit tedious. He's focuses way too much on 'shock' and not enough on ['funny'.
