Not sure if he was the number 11 who assisted Dyer's goal. If so, he looked very good on the ball, but struggled with a few of the aerial duels. Brilliant run through the middle and pass for the goal though (if it was him).
He played on the right for a spell, and then dropped more into a holding midfield role. Looked tidy on the ball, but often dispossessed when trying to make forward runs.
The young players look confident and moved the ball quickly against the second string Alfreton players who started the second half. Still looked sloppy in the first half giving the ball away, way to many times. The defence still looked vulnerable especially De Gevigney getting caught on the ball. Robert's look good. Need to get Pines back and drop De Gevigney. Was surprised how many times Connell gave the ball away. Slow play out from the back in the first half. Very much like Collins ball. Hope we will be able to strengthen the squad in the next couple of weeks.
Enjoyed the day t'day first stop Bolton on Dearne, grandson won again Rugby league Dearne valley bull dogs under 14's, an then darn to Alfreton, good game first half was all the first team, did'nt know anybody in the second half, but overall a good day art, Fish an chips in Marios were excellent. Ah ok thanks, not sure what number he wears. I used to work with his mam and spoke to him on a couple of occasions, so taken a bit if interest in his progress, or not as the case may be. The last he played was in the EFL cup at left midfield and did ok.
