Just got back. Several dozens of pounds poorer but got some good photos. Good day out. And the Red Arrows - will always be the best!

Having read the match report, the chap who I thought was Pickard, was in fact the trialist from Sheff Utd. There's a couple of the young lads who's names I've heard, but couldn't put a face to them.

I enjoyed it too. 8 different winners in the last 8 finals. Far more interesting than how many men have dominated over the decades.

Not sure what the team was for the Derby game behind closed doors, but Clarke alluded to all first teamers having 60 minutes under their belt.

There's also another behind closed doors this week (Wednesday I think), so might be playing then.

Though we do have 3 right wing backs.

Report mentions the goal was assisted by 'a Trialist'.

I like friendlies as it all about studying players and especially Trialists - are they good enough for us etc. in addition management studying fitness amongst other things. Also important to get match fitness in the legs so we hit the ground running when it starts for real.

No sorry but 3/4 convinced around me, I saw him and someone else showed me a picture of the guy from Birmingham. And the lad at the ground. He was in a tracksuit behind the dugout. Have to say very alike. But I wouldnt stake my life on it.
