    Absolute radio afternoon show talk about Wimpy regularly, apparently there is about 90 still going up and down the country though a large number are in Essex, think Southend as 2 within 60 yards of each othet

    Yes I remember a few years back I saw one, can't quite remember where it was, maybe Woolacombe or somewhere in the south west.

    Correct - I found it in Barnsley Streets.

    Was next to a furniture shop called Jays. Opened about 1960 and there until early 70’s when it must have then moved to Market Hill which fits with my early recollections of it being there - opposite what would have been Curry’s?

    I also remember taking the X32 motorway bus to Leeds with my mates as a young teenager, the attraction being Burger King and X Clothes!
