It's a "winter" option

If I'm going to be driving in the lovely Scottish winter, i.e. snow and ice, I'd rather be risking a cheap car than an expensive bike!

 

Another alternative...

Get a minibus/van, treat it like a tank and potentially make a few quid moving mates from flat to flat in your spare time!!!

 

Insurance may be a stumbling block

But, I could fit a race bike in the back of it and go up Knockhill...

 

Used to do that one too!!!

 

It's worth a go!
