Still got many friends there great to see them all again even if only once a year now

 

What's even more amazing is

It's the first Dinner that I can remember in a long time when no-one has found anything to moan about!

I was MC last year & had to cope with 5 people moaning & refusing to go through to eat, preventing me from getting the top table brought through.

why recommend this? cos it's expensive? up there with the bistro and beatson house for being massively over-rated.

 

if you like a steak, the grille in'tarn is spot on, dil raj for curries, 3 acres for over priced (but very good) snap, armstrongs for better snap but no atmosphere (morgue type), tillies at clayton west (dear, but i'm sure she's worth it), pub grub specials i reckopn are the strafford arms and the lord nelson (high hoyland). niver bin to bonviver but been told it's tre bien.
