Well they won't be the first or the last. They're getting well paid and it's hardly a pit shift. If they're that professional they shoudnt be whingeing about it on twitter.

I feel sorry for pinilos and thiam because they haven’t had a chance this season with any manager. I do like Cavare but he has had loads of chances and cost us plenty of goals, that boro game was disgusting

Also does anyone else think he could also be referring to fan abuse of players on twitter? Can get disgusting sometimes

The original post seems to have been a reaction to having been moved into the U23 squad list on the website, presumably once the transfer window had closed, and without any direct notification ahead of time. This also happened with Cavare, and I presume the treatment of Thiam was consistent with this.

Interesting to note that all three are now shown back in the first team squad list as of this morning. Not sure when the change was made, but it's different to the screenshot shown underneath Dani's original tweet.

I should clarify that I don't think this is a sign that the three of them are being brought back into the fold, as far as playing prospects go, but it does seem to be an tacit acknowledgement by the club that it wasn't perhaps the best way to handle things, hence the subtle fix on the quiet.

A subtle fix on the quiet?

    From our club?

    Surely not.
