I got A level in Latin.
You'll find nobody actually speaks latin any more, apart from the pope. Give him a ring.
Other than that I may be able to help.

You must be a doctor then, otherwise why would you take A level Latin? But I suppose most doctors in the UK use Pakistani these days.

Most lawyers understand Latin. I have a A Level in the subject, but at my age I've forgotten more than I learned.

    VJP Hah!!

Agree 100% Tw*t of the highest order -small man big ego! My opinion of most teachers changed when I left school, grew up and realised they were just ordinary people doing a job - unlike VJP.

I did enjoy the 'run-ins' I had with him when I was studying A level English and spent most of the lessons with him banished to the library. However since we but we had 3 different teachers only a third of my English lessons were with VJP so I still passed English with a decent grade.

When I went in for my A level results the tw*t was there and made a snide comment about how he could not believe I had passed and was tempted to query the grade. I just smiled and left!.

Throughout, he was easy to distract though and one lesson spent an age rambling on about why you stir your cup of tea! He reasoned that it was to cool it quicker and I said (cocky tw*t that I was) "Personally, I stir it to dissolve the sugar SIR!" (note emphasis on the Sir) That was it and he exploded...... GET OUT!!

So off I traipsed to the library and, I think it was 'Pea' Green, who said to me..."Thrown out of English again then?" "Yep" I said.
There was never any love lost between me and VJP.
