Anyone still think Davey is the man for the job?

I think it says much for the lack of clear thinking in the team selection and tactics that, on corners we had to leave JCR back as last man because all the defence had to go up for the corner given that we had no height up front. As you say, given their keeper's distribution prowess, it left us more exposed at our corners than at theirs. Good job we didnt have many!

 

That also brings into question Davey's signings. When he's looking at a video of a player he's going to sign (cos he doesn't go to watch em unless I'm mistaken), does he not realise until they get here that they're all 5 foot 2?

We still haven't got a left sided player worth a place, even on the bench (has the French bloke not built his strength back up yet?) and we still haven't got a striker who looks like he can score more than half a dozen goals a season.
