No. He only needs 8 new players. Mata, RVP and Rooney keep. The rest are not up to it.

Yes, that's what's wrong. No he won't be sacked, he'll get 2 years minimum.

Whoever came into Man Utd were getting a poisoned chalice.

A Mourinho figure might have squeezed one more year of performances out of an ageing team. However he might have rocked the boat too much for Man Utd.

Moyes is a long term move - like when Ferguson came in himself. We all know the story with Robbins saving his job.
Admittedly different times, but Man U are never gonna be a Fulham & have 3 managers in a season.
Think it will come good for Moyes if they stick with him. He is the sort of manager who needs his own players though & a big clear out needed
in the summer. Man Utd haven't managed to produce many quality youngsters for a while, so they need to look at that too.

Hope Arsenal win the league this season, but really it is Chelsea for me who'll take it.

He needs time/patience. But will he get it? Not in my opinion. I thought he was a strange appointment in the first place. Perhaps Fergie knew he'd be poor and thus make him look better? Dunno. Moyes is a decent enough bloke/manager I think. And anybody succeeding Sir Alex was always going to struggle, especially with the squad he left behind who kind of lucked into winning the title for me last season. Fergie got a lot extra out of some of those players, he was probably the best manager the Premier League has seen, or will see. One of the greatest in club football history, to be fair.

Moyes however, has never won/achieved owt. Martinez has taken his team at Everton, added to it, blooded a few kids and has improved them already. Plus, he won the FA Cup with little Wigan. I bet Man Utd wish they'd given it him instead...

They wont sack him, not his team. No body in the right mind would play smalling unless they had no one else. Fergie knew what he was doing getting out. He knew the midfield was ***** last season thats why he persuaded Scholes out of retirement.

They will spend big in the summer and then judge Moyes, but not sure who they will attract with no Champ league
