Very few Managers actually achieve the "Great" status.

I'm not quite sure how you would define "Great", but I think that if he does keep us up and gets us in a comfortable mid-table position next season, he will have done a marvelous job.

It's then likely some of the big boys will want him to come out and play as Everton did Moyes and he will be on his way.

I for one wouldn't blame him if he did move on to another Club where the fans would give him a fair chance instead of all the abuse and hostility he has had in the media and on the BBS.

Who knows if he will become a Great , or an average Manager only time and Owen (wnkr) Blackadder will tell.

Good now try reading the content of my post and answer me this.

Taking Simons age in to consideration and his qualifications. If he does get us out of the **** Ritchie and Holden left us in and achieves a respectable midtable position next season. Why wouldn't a bigger Club than BFC want to have a look at him?

    I hope

that he goes on to be the most successful manager in the club's history.

    Just that.

Why would a premiership club look at his age?

    He's not a centre forward.

Well he would be young with a track record of success.

No relegations on his CV and if we do stay up it will be as good as a promotion.

Oh, and he'd be cheap wouldn't he?

Coach, I seriously think you are one of the most obsessed people I have come across.

Why do you have to have a dig at Ritchie in every single post , also why is it that other people who do not agree with you or Spartacus are subjected to abuse. I know Owen Blackadder has a go at you too, but if he believes one thing and you another, it does not give you the right to slag each other all the time.
    LEAVE RITCHIE ALONE NOW.

It's called a wind up mate. It prevokes a reaction and keeps the board lively.

    what's going on here?

you always struck me as a rational one tina, but after a run of poor performances then one nice win, you seem to have decided he's the best thing ever! don't get me wrong, i'd love to see him (and therefore us) succeed, but i'm still not convinced by him. he does seem bloody-minded, and while that can be a good thing in terms of actually being in charge of the dressing room and asserting authourity, it can go too far. i'm still reserved on him, he's been so-so until now. i don't think any of us can truly judge him as good or bad yet, he's just kept us on about a level plane. there's the points per game ratio and all that B*ll*cks, but until wednesday we were in about the same position we were before, just with a few extra players.

we can only really judge him at the end of the season, and then it remains to be seen how he'll fare next.

    No...

Management is about handling people and he hasn't shown any inclination of being able to do that well. It isn't a skill you can learn, you either have it or you dont. In my opinion, he doesn't. However, he may, in time, become a good coach.
