I'm going to predict a Luton meltdown and Sunderland fatigue. Barnsley up as champs. Pompey 2nd. 3. Luton 4. Sunderland 5. Charlton 6. Donnycaster.
It's certainly possible but it's looking very unlikely. I hope we can win five because I think we'll need to if we are to avoid the play offs.
We've got to hope that our young squad aren't overcome with nerves. If they can focus on each game as they come up and don't get too concerned with what our rivals are doing, we could be OK. The incentive of improved Contracts should be motivation enough for them to get us promoted and as an eternal optimist, I for one remain hopeful we will get sufficient points to ensure our elevation to the Championship, always providing we can keep eleven players on the pitch by avoiding red cards and anymore injuries to our key players.
We can win them all and I think we’ll start scoring too. Next 6 games: Woodrow 3 tap ins and 2 curlers, brown will get a header and a one on one, thiam will get 3 blasters and a tap in, mowatt will score a free kick and a back post zipper , a goal a piece from Pinillos and cavare and keiffer will get a brace at Bristol. This will happen.
No. But wouldn't be at all surprised if we remain unbeaten. We're resilient, dogged and determined not to lose, but we're inconsistent in terms of playing good football and the goals are much harder to come by since the loss of Moore.
I don,t think we will win on Saturday probably another 0-0 the goals have dried up I think we,ll struggle to get over the line. Hope I,m wrong
It's doable if we get back to the clean sheets and give Woodrow plenty of service. Missing Moore of course, but Woodrow is a 1 in 2 striker.
No. We would have pissed automatic if we had the same team that we started the season. But we've been weakened by selling Potts and the unfortunate injury to Moore after a poor January transfer window.
Yep, the team we have now in 2nd place isn't quite the team that got us to 2nd place, so it feels like we are hanging on now. Partly through luck; partly through selling key players half way through the season. It's difficult enough to compete with Sunderland's financial clout as it is without getting rid of key assets at key moments in the season
One game at a time. It's been like it for ages. Sunderland have basically got to win 2 games to our 1 every week. If the reds put on a good, winning performance on Saturday, then doubts will lessen.
