To all the people that’s saying park elsewhere
There are some people that can’t park elsewhere because of mobility that’s why they park in the big car park
I’m almost certain the stewards have been told to antagonise people I’ve had a run myself with a car park attendant
If I was 20 years younger he would have got a right price of my mind you can’t go round talking to people like they do
NO WAY CAN OR SHOULD THEY TALK TO FOLK LIKE THAT
It’s only this season that it’s happend

 

Hopefully you’ll get the info requested as like you say it will clear it up once and for all.
I may be wrong but I’m sure someone else requested in the past and was told they wouldn’t release it due to concerns over the safety of individuals involved and club staff.
I know I’ve read it somewhere but not sure if it was on here.

On the flip side the carpark attendants I've spoken to this season have been really friendly and say their hands are tied. They'd love to relax the rules but have been told they can't under any circumstances.

 

Clearly feeling are running high and fully understand if you have mobility issues you have to use the car park,but it seems to me you want your cake and to eat it as in you need or wish to park right outside the ground and want to leave immediately after the game. I have no mobility issues so I park in town so I have a 15 to 20mins walk after the game thats my down side yours is you have wait for the car park to clear. As for for the attendants if they are been unprofessional then that should be reported to the club and dealt with ,two wrongs don't make a right.
We have a ground with poor access but its our home and this is all about compromise,its not safe to have cars moving straight after the final whistle and to say but it's always been like that isn't a reason. The alternative is to move to soulless box next to the M1 and I'm pretty sure no one wants that.

That is just a smokescreen though, they can easily release the information whilst redacting names of individuals.

 

I agree, it could even go further and have as standard instead of names:
Police representative
Council representative
Club etc

That way no names are ever revealed but it is clear which body is advising what.

All is required is pedestrian walkways separated from traffic routes with clearly controlled crossing points where the two meet. LOLLYPOP MAN.

You can't have thousands of people walking where there is a potential of moving cars.

Closing the car park is the only option as unfortunately the problem is people will do what they want not what is sensible or put in place for their safety

Fans who are not parked in the carpark should not walk through the carpark. Lock the pedestrian gates in the carpark aswell and direct fans towards Beevor Court, Grove Street, Belgrave Road and just walk on footpaths not the middle of the road.
Delay cars for 15 minutes to let the majority clear away then everyone left walk on the footpath like we do everyday of our lives except before and after a match.
The set up of the traffic management away from the ground, closing access under the bridge on to Harbour Hills is the daftest decision ever and the traffic lights how they are programmed causes more hold ups.

Anyway shut the carpark, lose supporters blame the club because people are generally selfish or thick.

 

My take on this. Two wrongs don't make a right.

OP should duly apologise otherwise receive some sort of ban at Oakwell.

Secondly, the female cpa should formally apologise otherwise be either suspended or fired.

Can't have just customers who lose their rags punished yet stand behind behind disgusting conduct from club employees. It works both ways.

She was just making sure she followed the rules she'd been told though? Basically told him not to move the cone or open the gate. Admittedly she shouldn't have sworn but I don't see how it's 2 wrongs in this case? Totally different if she'd reacted as she did to a polite enquiry as to could she please open the gate?

 

I have made a complaint to the ICO re BMBC failure to release the SAG minutes. I have also asked my local Cllr to help obtain them.

I originally asked for them in February 2023.

 

Swearing at customers is out of order. Cannot be defended. So yeah 100% both ways as both parties behaviour equally as bad.
